About bourgeon
At bourgeon, we provide complete floral design and production services for those seeking a modern, romantic flower aesthetic for their most important events. In 2011 after leaving a successful broadcast production career, I founded this company in order to pursue a more personal and creative approach to production, as well as to own my own work. After six years of developing my unique approach to arranging flowers, I left Brooklyn and moved to Rockaway Beach, New York. Its proximity to the ocean, just within the New York City limits, has inspired a new direction in our approach to floral design. Each design reflects the movement, open space and clarity of the landscape of the beach, along with the sophistication of the city’s ever evolving aesthetic standards.
My team and I work with clients to curate the individual’s event to their unique tastes and to the event space itself. Clients can expect exceptionally rich color palettes and a textured approach to layering floral elements in surprising and whimsical ways.
In my non-flower making life, I like to hop on planes in search of good surf breaks and fun! My yoga practice is a big part of my life and I became certified to teach during the pandemic. In the slower flower months, I live in Southern Costa Rica, spend lots of time in the ocean surfing and co-lead destination yoga retreats.
